If there was ever a perfect encapsulation of what 'choke artist' really means, it would be the series of unfortunate events of a nightmare week for the Kamala campaign.
Paul, it has always been the Democrat party. That is official title and should be used as such in all sentence constructions. I am glad Trump mentioned it. Most important, nature has one God, not plurals.
This isn’t true. “Democrat Party” is an epithet long used by Republicans – for a reason that is obvious: it makes the other party sound dumber. It’s also, technically, grammatically incorrect (another example is the often-used ‘Ukraine War,’ as opposed to the proper ‘Ukrainian War’), but it makes for good politics. As for the plural use of gods, based on your recommendation, I modified it to say ‘election gods’ – I’m speaking facetiously, not literally, of course. I also corrected my misquotation of Jefferson to say, “laws of nature and nature’s God.” Thank you for pointing that out!
Paul, you said it all. One of the reasons Kamala couldn't think of anything she disagreed with Biden's policies, is that she is lazy and unprepared. I've known my share of people who seem congenitally unable to actually work, prepare, think. They wing it. Some of my colleagues in education - high school and university - wasted students' time. It's not that she is stupid - ignorant, perhaps. I suspect she has a reasonable IQ, but can't be bothered. People like you that write these lengthy pieces, have a fund of knowledge, have genuine beliefs, and are not afraid of hard work, find people like Harris empty, unworthy, unfathomable and dangerous. Keep up the great work. I'm a fan.
Michael, just saw your comment. I lived on Creston Avenue and 181st street, one block from the Grand Concourse. I think you were near Taft High School.
Nice summing up of her disastrous week. Suspect she will outdo herself in the weeks to come. The Al Smith dinner episode casts a huge shadow on her judgment and the qualify of her advice she gets from her campaign staff. Have to wonder if she simply refused to do it, despite their urging, or if they all agreed it would be a disaster, lesser-of-two-evils thing. And who signed off on that cringe video from the 1980s? Who told her that was a good idea?

Great. But is it not officially the Democrat Party?
No, it's officially the "Democratic Party."
Just got our Voter Pamphlet and Harris and Walz are both listed as “Democrat.”
Where do you find that?
