Make no mistake: the real Kamala Harris is a deeply unlikable woman with a disastrous record and checkered past, who is even despised by her own staff.
Sadly, some of the "influencers" (purporting to be) on our side are joining in the choir of voices suggesting that the fake news media machine might be able to gaslight the people into considering Harris a potential winner. As if the legacy corporate liars had any substantial narrative to offer, and as if the people were all suddenly easily gullible again, when in fact everybody outside the hard-core leftist brainwashed bubble has learned the hard way over the last 3 plus years not to trust anything they are being told.
The same people who didn't buy the indictments and sham trials (and quite to the contrary rallied around President Trump even more) are supposed to now believe that magically, Harris has suddenly become a convincing candidate. What utter rubbish. Entirely implausible.
She may serve as a tool for kind of keeping the Dems united in this utter mess of their own making, but how she would appeal to the same independents who previously have stayed away from her according to the disapproval numbers you rightly pointed to … seems like a consummate conundrum, to use a fancy word myself.
I'm always advocating for NO complacency, we do need to FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, but I am also appalled by those who delight in self-defeating doomsday scenarios, thus undermining our own momentum and determination. There's a difference between realism and caution on one hand vs. practically subversion on the other. I wonder if there's controlled opposition among us. Just saying.
