Andrew Tate: The Glitch in the Matrix
Few personalities stoke the ire of the Matrix, or the systems designed to keep the global masses enslaved, as much as the brothers Tate.
Few personalities stoke the ire of the Matrix, or the systems designed to keep the global masses enslaved, as much as the brothers Tate. Andrew and Tristan are controversialists by nature. The volume of their notoriety has amplified considerably over the past year in particular — ever since they began using their platforms to call out the real systems of oppression that have spread like wildfire throughout the world. These systems would otherwise purport to keep the majority of people in a womb-to-tomb state of dependency. The Tates are driven by a noble impetus to unshackle regular people, but young men especially, from the chains of propaganda, digital serfdom, and chemical and institutional castration that dulls the mind and enervates the body – the Matrix, in other words, whose lifeblood is the millions who have been reduced into a kind of slavery.
Although this slavery is arguably more insidious than anything found in the past: for its participants join the modern slave plantation mostly willingly, choosing its creature comforts and false promise of safety voluntarily, over and above personal responsibility and self-respect, those essential virtues for manhood. In short, the modern Matrix’s Faustian bargain would seem to realize Rousseau’s famous adage, “man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains.”
The Matrix has been made possible, however, by modern technology on the one hand, coupled with a godless society – one with a seemingly limitless supply of deadened souls who drift through life zombielike, lacking a moral compass or sense of purpose. This makes people easier to control than ever before – they are like sheep in desperate search for guidance. Governments and their media apparatchiks weaponize this collective desperation, through a sinister combination of fear-mongering and brainwashing, which they use to further entrench their hegemony – making such systems of control virtually impenetrable.
The Tates themselves, being self-made multimillionaire entrepreneurs, are a uniquely modern phenomenon: they are both byproducts of and rebels against this newfound digital tyranny, though, unlike most, they have dared traipse into forbidden territory.
The Tates themselves, being self-made multimillionaire entrepreneurs, are a uniquely modern phenomenon: they are both byproducts of and rebels against this newfound digital tyranny, though, unlike most, they have dared traipse into forbidden territory. They have stood for “traditional” masculinity (as if masculinity could be anything else) as the rest of the world deemed the concept problematically antiquarian; they have bucked vaccine mandates and travel restrictions as heads of state doubled down rapaciously on policies that pay tribute to the false idol of safety; they have preached the light of God’s truth in a world that has been engulfed by the Devil’s darkness.
To the extent the Tates drift from the traditional Western ideal of sainthood, a tempered interpretation might hold them as something like a necessary prophylactic — or radical overcorrection — to offset the pendulum throughout America and Europe that has shifted too far in favor of a hyper feminized existence that prioritizes safety above all other values. The effect of this has been to systematically debilitate virtually every man, spiritually if not actually, which has created a crisis of identity by which the West no longer can ground itself in anything objectively true. The Tates have unforgivingly forced their vision of the world upon millions of young men without asking for permission first. That summarizes their true crime, and is the ultimate reason the Matrix has gone after them with such zeal.
In this sense, the Tates are revolutionaries – though their rebellion is not one against tradition, order, authority, the stuff of so many revolutions in history. If anything, theirs is a kind of counterrevolution – one that readily acknowledges our modern state of affairs and accepts them for what they are, while forging a path forward – all while professing fealty to the virtues that made great men in generations past. This is no easy task, of course, and the Tate brothers have made sacrifices, perhaps more than anyone with their notoriety, for their steadfast commitment to truth telling. Indeed, the Tates have been falsely accused of the most heinous crimes imaginable — human trafficking, rape, abusing women, etc. — and they have suffered real-world injuries for their bravery – including both personal losses and blows to their professional reputations. They have even been imprisoned for their beliefs, and to this day remain on house arrest pending a Romanian criminal investigation, despite having never once been charged with a crime – in Romania, the UK, the United States, or anywhere.
What sort of behavior merits this kind of treatment? Though they presently reside in Romania, the Tates have dual UK-US citizenship. In no other situation would it be tolerable for an American citizen, stationed overseas, to receive this kind of treatment from a foreign government without American intervention. What distinguishes the Tates from the ordinary citizen is that they have committed blasphemy against the religion of the Matrix – and have done so, with impunity, at a scale that few can replicate. It is the ultimate heresy for individual men to expose the lies of the regnant political class, one that thrives on keeping the masses ignorant. Of course, the price of the blasphemer is quite steep – the system is designed to overlook the hundreds of thousands of busybodies – those bureaucrats who imbibe the regime narrative uncritically – who prop up the whole edifice. Keeping people dumb and afraid is the Matrix’s bread and butter – therefore, by design, it manufactures the kind of citizen who will remain docilely compliant.
To the extent an Andrew or Tristan Tate slips through the cracks from time to time, it is a double embarrassment; not only because such a person exposes the regime’s lies, but moreover, it implies that the machinery is not completely perfect. Indeed, there remain unnoticed cracks in the system, which made possible someone like an Andrew Tate to come about in the first place, even if in 99.99% of other cases, everything works perfectly as intended.
But that 0.01%, however diminutive, could well prove fatal – it is why, ultimately, the Matrix and its international organs must weaponize its full power to tamp out those “subversive” influences. Each error detected is seemingly responded to with even greater force, in order to put the world on warning, especially in an age in which the cracks appear to be multiplying – and can appear uncontrollable.
This captures the Tate accusations in a nutshell: for its part, the Matrix resorts to a kind of legalistic bloodletting, a high-tech Chinese water torture of sorts by those with bureaucratic souls. These punitive techniques capture the passive aggressive, feline nature of the Matrix: rather than conventional warfare, it deploys tactics like litigation or house arrest, which has a soul crushing effect on the warrior archetype in particular. This ultimately goes to the greatest evil of the Matrix – and the reason so many young men have been inspired by their message and have taken the metaphorical redpill – it chooses to wage war on men’s souls, rather than their bodies, which is a more insidious and duplicitous type of warfare because it strips men of the proper dignity they might otherwise earn and receive on the battlefield. True men exalt honor and self-sacrifice; a system designed to eradicate those virtues is antithetical to everything that it means to be a man – and if left to its own devices, will inevitably lead to man’s abolition.
This is the underlying crisis – of which the Tate brothers, unfortunately, have become convenient scapegoats. What is at stake in their persecution is nothing less than the hope for the survival of manhood – this is why their cause should be the concern of even the most disinterested of men, on whose altar rests the fate of those traditional virtues – honor, discipline, sacrifice – that all great men preserve, of which the rest of humanity in turn benefits, for those virtues make the cause of freedom possible in the first place.
